Created player getting deleted from franchise file

I created a player saved the file load it into a new franchise and after playing a practice or game the player disappears off the roster completely. Also cant change captains or make numerous other edits.

    I am just commenting on all of these so they stay at the top. Issue persisting across all consoles and hitting everyone who tries a franchise with created players
