PC Cannot Launch Game
I am unable to launch the game after the update today (8/26/26). My game was previously launching and running just fine for the past week, and I have not had any new windows updates since 2 weeks ago. When I try to launch the game, it will say "launching game" and then nothing will happen, and in my task bar it says Madden 27 is running and "suspended". I saw other people may be having this problem, and I do not know of a fix yet. I have already tried verifying game files, repairing anti cheat in the game files, running Steam and EA app as administrator, and clearing cache in the EA app. This is getting very frustrating, and it seems like every year there are always updates that launch that completely break the game on PC as it seems they are not properly testing the updates on PC before launching. Last year there was an update that made the game have unplayable frame rate on PC. It is making it very hard to justify continuing to spend money on a product with very poor reliability and support.Game Freezes at "Sharing with NFL" screen
On this page it also disables my mouse and Xbox controller and I cannot select anything. I have tried: Clearing the EA App Cache Running Repair Signing out and signing back in Trying to start the game without internet connected Allowing the app to work through the firewall Disabling in-game overlays Disabling Control Flow Guard for madden27.exe Running the app as Administrator all to no avail. I have never played the game because I can't get beyond this point. Any help would be appreciated. DaveFirst Update?
There was no mention of the game crashing in this update. They didn’t say a word about it. Are you serious? This is completely unacceptable. It is one thing if they informed us they haven’t figured out how to fix the issue yet, but to not even mention something that is probably happening to thousands of people is pathetic. This means it is going to be at least another week we cannot play a game we paid for, and no ability to get a refund. I don’t know how a company can so blatantly violate our consumer protection rights and think no one is ever going to do something about it. Well I am going to do something about it. I like being able to have the ability to flex on my opponent after scoring a TD but I have a slight issue. Each time I input a button combo for a celebration it always either comes in to late and the play call screen appears or I trigger one of the end zone celebrations that are only supposed to trigger when you at the back of the end zone but I am not. I'm playing on Switch 2 so maybe it's a switch 2 issue but I would like it delt with in the next title update in a few weeks or months since the issue wasn't in Madden 26 on Switch 2 so hopefully this gets addressed.
Game Freezes / Crashes in Franchise mode while loading extra player training
I am playing an offline franchise, and during week 2 of the preseason, while trying to do the extra training option for a player, my game would continuously crash when trying to load the training. Attached are screen captures of which mini-game was causing the crash and the screen that it would crash on.Unable to Advance Past Week 1
As the title states, my offline franchise file is unable to advance past week 1. It immediately dashboards my Xbox. I am unable to determine the specific cause but I don't believe it to be related to custom draft classes nor do I believe it to be due to having more than one user coach on the save file. I reverted to an autosave from preseason and quickly advanced it to week 1 again and experienced the same issue when attempting to advance beyond there. It is extremely frustrating to be staring at having to restart my save, even if it's early on in the life cycle of said save.Superstar mode still crashes
Just tried playing superstar mode after the patch. Still crashes. Tried to play twice both times crashed. The game play is still terrible. The blitzers are on me before I can get the snap in shotgun. This game is not even worth trying to come back to after the next patch.
Madden 27 Franchise mode loss of FPS
I have been playing franchise mode since it came out and menu was always at 60 FPS, I logon today post update from yesterday and see that now every time im in the menu its at 30 fps no matter what settings I change or anything. I am on PC and would love to here if anyone has any idea why this might be.
Team Builder [Error 105] - Never fixed???
I spend hours designing the perfect uniforms and editing every player on the roster so I could import the team into Madden (as we were promised) and play with a roster of my school friends from back in the day. Instead, 80% of the time I submit my team, this error pops up after spinning for 5-10 minutes: [Error 105] - Teambuilder has encountered an error in the teambuilding process. Try Again/Quit? Do you guys even have a Quality Control department? How do such obvious errors continue from year to year in successive games? It boggles my mind.Announcer Glich for Teambuilder Team in Franchise
Hi all, So I downloaded Madden 27 and imported and started a franchise with my Teambuilder team. I'm experiencing the same thing I experienced last year where the announcers are defaulting to Chicago, but my team is from New York. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to fix it, or do we have to wait for another update from EA? Is there a way to get in touch with EA to report this really annoying bug?Auction issues
Ever since I auctioned players I’ve noticed that they are stuck in auction and you can’t cancel the auction and you can’t put them back in your lineup or anything they are just stuck in there ive also tried to restart my game and restart my console but nothing worked also waited for this new update to see if maybe it would be fixed and nothing has happenedCaptains patch
How hard is it to slap a Captains patch on the jersey after your player is named a team captain? Surely not difficult. College Football 27 has it. Figure it out. Maybe pay superstar mode some attention. I paid just as much money for this fn game as the people who only play online. Also can you please for the love of God fix the rotation of the broadcasting teams. I'll get one game of Tirico, one game of Goden and then I'll get four or five games in a row of Kate Scott. I have Payton Wilson 82 ovr in auction . But he’s not in auction . His card shows as if he’s in auction. I can’t cancel. I can’t use him on my team and every second every minute that he’s on auction, he doesn’t increase in value, but he decreases in value. His card needs to go off of auction so either I can use him or sell him for less value than he was yesterday. This needs to be fixed ASAP. it would suck if this happens to anyone else
Madden 27 no audio
I am on PC and I have zero audio for Madden 27. I also have NCAA Football 27 and that works fine with audio, same with all my web browsers and other games. I have repaired the game, reinstalled the game, changed audio devices and still no audio. I have made sure in audio mixer that Madden is not muted and on 100%. My sound drivers are also all up to date. I do not know what to do. Any advice would be great!Madden 27 Franchise Camp Consuelor bug
There is a bug in the franchise with the Camp Counselor ability. At level 3 (gold), it should grant 2x experience in the mini-games, but it has no effect on the experience gained. I verified this by comparing the total experience before and after the mini-game. At level 4 (blue), it should grant 3x experience in the mini-game, but it only grants 2x experience (the level 3 effect).Wear & Tear and Salary Cap settings not working in Franchise mode
Wear and tear in franchise mode is completly broken, in game two of regular season most of my starters didn’t finished the game after one quarter, even if disable the Wear and Tear in the settings, i remember that in Madden 26 i was able to turned off the Wear and Tear in my Franchise settings before i started the season, idk if it’s because of the earlier access, but is not realistic that i can’t finish a single game with my qb after throw one pass without a hit and the game sit him because of this. Regarding salary cap, even if i turn off this one, i can’t negotiate free agents or contracts because it shows how much i have of salary space [CM - updated thread title for clarity and visibility]Delay between game controller button input and gameplay
There is a major delay/lag between controller button input and the game itself. It seems like the players don’t respond as fast to the button input during gameplay especially in online h2h. The delay is almost a second off causing slow reactions and movements during gameplay, for example controlling a defensive lineman going for a tackle or sack there is a small delay or no reaction at all going for a play and the game doesn’t read any commands from the control button input on time or barely at all.
Why have we not heard anything about the game crashing our platforms?
Everyone on all platforms have been experiencing crashes on our PCs and Consoles, and we haven't heard one word from the devs or anyone about this situation. alot of us paid good money for this game and not being able to run the thing is so VERY VERY FRUSTRATING. what are you doing to fix this problem?
