Custom Adjustments/Macros Cannot Be Reliably Accessed From Play-Call Screen

I'm having an issue with the pre-play Custom Adjustments/Macros that are accessed by holding the play-call button while still on the play-call screen.

On defense, holding the play-call button can bring up either my saved Custom Adjustments/Macros or the D-Line Stunts menu. I have not been able to determine a consistent reason why one appears instead of the other, and there does not appear to be a way to toggle between the two.

In my experience, the Stunts menu appears considerably more often, which means I can have a Custom Adjustment saved for a specific situation and then be unable to access it when that situation occurs.

There also appears to be a related issue on offense. Sometimes holding the play-call button correctly brings up my saved Custom Adjustments/Macros, while other times holding the same button does nothing at all.

So the behavior I'm seeing is:

Defense: Custom Adjustments/Macros OR D-Line Stunts

Offense: Custom Adjustments/Macros OR nothing opens

The problem is that I cannot reliably reproduce what determines which behavior I get.

This is particularly important for Coach Mode leagues because many of our leagues allow pre-play Custom Adjustments/Macros from the play-call screen while restricting manual adjustments after the play has been selected.

I'm not asking for any additional gameplay advantage or new adjustment functionality. I'm just hoping there can be a reliable way to access the Custom Adjustments/Macros that are already in the game.

Ideally, Macros and D-Line Stunts could have separate controls, we could toggle between the two menus, or we could choose which menu the shared input prioritizes.

If the current behavior is intentional, clarification on what determines when Custom Adjustments/Macros are available would also be extremely helpful.
