Franchise breaking trading issues.

My 4 friends and I are in season one of our franchise and in weeks 6-8 of our franchise, teams started trading ALL of their superstars. The Chargers traded for Josh Allen, and still have Justin Herbert on their roster. The 49ers have McCaffery, Gibbs, and Achane. Its insane, almost every team has traded away at least 2-3 of their top players. A dozen teams have 100+ million dollar cap penalties..... Wtf is going on.....
