Poor performance post crash on PC

I had a crash in superstar mode where the game hard crashed to desktop during a trade of a teammate. Since then I get horrific performance in both Madden and College football to the point that both games are now completely unplayable and run at about 8 frames a second but I was getting mid 40s in all modes prior to the crash. 

I have tried the following:

Repair both Madden and College football 

Repair/Clear cache of EA App

Install updated graphics driver 

Unistalled both games and the Ea app and did a clean install of all

None of these have worked and the problem persists. 

Does anyone have any clue how to fix this? Is this a known issue?

    I think this time we have to do something. ArtfulRunner82​ had their computer damaged from this game. A video game put out by a company that has been around for 40 years should not permanently damage the console you are playing on. We have rights as a consumer and they are being violated. And I don't know about any of you others, but I am done complaining, I am taking action.

    I filed a complaint on the Federal Trade Commission website. I am sure nothing will come of it but it is something I guess. Maybe if a bunch of us do it, something will happen? I don't know what that would be...Like a fine or something?

    Oh boy is it known. It is in the PS5/Xbox/PC overheating as well as the post byjimmarshall​ . It is pretty much all I talk about. Really sorry to hear about what happened to you. That sucks. But hopefully help is on the way.

    Update: Seems it has actually corrupted some system file or graphics card file. I can no longer play any games or use any of my digital content creation apps like 3ds Max, unreal, photoshop, or the substance suite. Cool cool. As a a game dev who uses my at home pc for portfolio work thanks EA. Thanks a lot
