So what is going on here? Is the overheating issue the same as the crashing? Are they one-in-same? Or are the different things entirely? Because the game isn't technically crashing, only when we are trying to buy packs in MUT it overheats and the entire console just shuts down, which I am sure is super good for the longevity of the console.
Still no update on when this issue might be fixed? I keep seeing that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. But it has been a week. This is either extreme incomitance or this came out of nowhere and it is much harder to resolve than originally anticipated. We just want transparency and communication, and we never get either. This forum only exists because we are here. The employees of EA are supposed to assist us. Why have the forums if you are just going to ignore 90% of the things we say? Just shut it down.
This is insane! I don't get it. Actually my PS5 only overheats when I play MUT and am trying to buy packs. It sucks so bad. I just want to give EA all my money but my PS5 keeps overheating and shutting down right before I make a purchase. Please help me so I can give you more of my money!!!!
Yes my xbox series x overheating only when I try to play madden 27 it's been over a week and still nothing is being done but **bleep** promises from EA and those lying YouTubers

Ok...So I thought I had a fix, I re-downloaded the game, and I was playing for a little over an hour, and then it just said "Your PS5 is too hot" and then immediately shut off. So that is just fantastic. So EA_Kent you need to tell us what to do. This is REALLY bad for the console. I know you don't like me but I need you to help us. If this ruins my PS5 I will not be happy. And I am guessing the other people this is happening to won't be either. Please advise us on what to do. I don't know a lot about this kind of thing, and it is your job, so PLEASE help us out here.
I posted about this last week . Xbox X overheats within 5 min of start up. This is the only game that does this which indicates that this is an EA issue. I wish they would read these responses and find a fix. What’s the point of these boards if they aren’t reading them?
Ok, since we aren’t going to get any help from EA, I am going to try a couple things when I get home. First I am going to delete the game and re-download it to see if that helps. Because this doesn’t seem to be an issue for everyone. I will give an update in a couple hours.
Ok EA_Kent You have evidence this is occurring on all the platforms this game is on. It doesn't happen with any other game. Is there anything you can tell us? I was able to play for like 25 minutes before I got the "PS5 is too hot" message. It has happened as fast as 5 minutes. I know there are the usual 25,000 issues with this game, but this one is actually bad for the console/computer, so it would be nice to know something is going to be done to remedy this.
They know it's a huge problem on all platforms I believe but refuse to address it at all. Glad I have ea play pro sub and didn't spend money on the hard copy.
