Kicked from UT after trying to EVO player

I have a 82 Marquise Brown I have EVO’d from the 82 preseasons standout EVO and I’m trying to use the 83 preseason standouts EVO on him but every time I go to pay for it, it kicks me and sends me to the main menu. He is fully EVO’d and I cannot upgrade him anymore unless I use the 83 EVO but unfortunately it’s not letting me. I know it works for other players since I used it for Keaton Mitchell who I EVO’d to 82 before using the 83 preseason standouts EVO on him.
