MUT Product Request

Here's my pitch for a new MUT product that I think would make EA more money, but also provide a valuable trade-off for players like me that don't want to spend 10k to compete.

Sell access to a theme team of our choice for an entire year at $500. What this means is that regardless of which cards you put out, if they're on my theme team, I get all past and future cards. Of course, you would want to make all of these cards BND, non-actionable. Maybe you give a discount for the first theme team.

I know from many years of experience that I'm not going to be able to compete with just this alone. I'll have to either buy more points or perform some combination of challenges and point buying. But it's a huge bridge between where we are now, and the fact that I haven't played MUT for years because it's just way too expensive to justify.

My suspicion is that if you look at the numbers, from the whales to the average player, you could assume exactly how many players would take the $500 theme team, heck a lot of the pros would buy up two or three of those (if allowed). Getting all 32 teams would cost, 16k. Which I believe is more than your average whale spends now.

The beauty of this system is that you still control which cards come out each day, and if everyone buys the same theme team, you can just pump out the cards for the least popular theme teams (which oh by the way, has ALWAYS been a huge problem with MUT, you giving the best cards to the 49ers, Raiders, Cowboys, Steelers, etc, every year), and encourage all your whale players to just buy the theme teams.

Again, what I think would happen is a lot more players like me would put in $500 for their favorite players instead of just not playing at all. And I think this would not only make up for the smaller population of whales that might normally pay more, because you've have a larger overall population engaged in MUT.

Lastly, I want to state that the key to making this really compelling for players like me is to make this for THE WHOLE YEAR! Not for 1 season, or something stupid like that. It has to be the whole year or it's just not worth it to anyone that's not already going to pump thousands of dollars into this game. I'm suggesting this because I think it will grow MUT in a way that's more equitable for people like me that want to play but can't justify making car payments every week just so you can then play challenges that you don't want to play, just to earn the right to get curb stomped by people paid 10 times more than  you did and have been playing online against other players for the last 12 straight hours while you were trying to score 4 touch down backwards in 41 seconds with a left handed QB so you could get 150 coins.

Please consider what I think is not only a reasonable request but also a way for you to make even more money by growing MUT.
