Ultimate Team Player Cards Revamp?
I believe the current player card system is redundant and very crowded, I have an idea for a fun addition to the collection while also managing the bloat and scrambled card collection sorting system.
- Introduce live series players. This would incentivize collection as well as give people a chance to play as their favorite player. Higher overalls could require all madden level progression across modes while lower ones would require focused objectives.
- Minimize sorting. Change the player view to that of MLB the Show meets (I know this sounds crazy) DBZ Tenkaichi. In the sense that you have a base character (in this case base live series card/team) and you click them and a deck of cards unfolds to show you every version of that player you have. If you have no live series the first usable version you have would show.
- improve upgrade UI. I believe consolidating player card space makes more room for upgrade paths/sets. It just feels kind of shoved in a corner right now navigating upgrading players (honestly I feel the same way about franchise mode coach upgrades).
I don’t know if this is even the place to say these things but, this is what I feel ultimate team can change without compromising value and retention.
