A bug robbed me of the superbowl

It's very frustrating. I was considering getting the latest copy of Madden, but after playing through the entire franchise progression, only to get to the end and not make it to the Super Bowl, after spending all that time and thinking you're getting there with a undefeated record, is unbelievable. Why play the game again if there's no guarantee it will give you the correct results...
