Account linked to old email

I just purchased Madden 19 on PS4. When I accessed the game, it said I already had an old EA account and i was asked for the password. The problem is, the account is a Verizon.Net email. . . Which no longer exists. I have since created an EA account linked to my Gmail adress. How do I delete the non existent Verizon.Net email and use my newer Gmail?

    I’m already communicating with my Gmail account (the good one) and I’m trying to see how to remove my nonexistent Verizon.net account (Verizon email no longer exists) and i don’t have access to that account. I want to play online, but my console is linked to an old EA account (the Verizon.net). How can I switch to my new Gmail? It doesn’t even give the option to switch emails

    Did you ever figure this out??  I'm having the same problem.  If the game would just allow us to select our own email address.  I have no clue where it's pulling these old email addresses from in the first place.
