Hi I'm having the same issue. I performed your suggested solutions but they did not correct the issue.

Try unplugging your controller and keyboard from the PC and plug them back in. Check to see if they have any drivers that need to be installed.
- What type of controller and keyboard do you have?
- Are you running any programs like Discord in the background when you're playing? If so, does closing those down fix this for you?
i got the same Porblem today for no reason. I dont run any progamms in the background. I use the Razer Blackwidow as a Keyboard and the standard XboxOne controller. I already reinstalled Madden and repaired it. I also tryed to unplug Keyboard and Controller and put them back in. Nothing worked. Please Help

Does it work if you unplug the Razer keyboard and only plug in the Xbox One controller?
Also, that Xbox One controller. Is it an official Xbox controller manufactured by Microsoft or is it a copycat version made by another company? I've seen some others experience controller issues with non-official controllers.
