Attributes of Players Generated for NFL Draft in Franchise Mode
Product: Madden 17
Platform:Sony Playstation 3
Summarize your bug: The speed and acceleration attributes of players generated for the drafts in Franchise mode need to be increased.
How often does the bug occur?: Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: The attributes for players generated for future year drafts in the Franchise Mode are not realistic. For example, safeties have a speed rating in the low 80's (80-85). This is similar to the speed of most DE in the draft. The acceleration attributes for WR are also low. It is less of an issue, but this also applies to the speed of RB.
What happens when the bug occurs?: This bug occurs in the players automatically generated for the NFL Draft in franchise mode.
What do you expect to see?: The speed range for safeties needs to be increased. For most existing players, it is between 85-95. Generated players should have similar speeds. For real NFL players, there are RB with speeds of 93+, yet for generated players, this tops out at 90. The same things applies for WR, where there are too many players with accelerations in the low 80's.
Bottom line: dramatically increase the speed of generated safeties. CB and HB also need more players with elite speed (93+), and finally the acceleration for WR needs to be increased. The simplest solution would be to have the distribution of SPD/STR/AGi/ACC for generated players match that of the already existing real NFL players.

The speed of safeties generated for the draft in Franchise Mode of Madden 17 on the PS3 needs to be dramatically increased. Their speed is generally in the low 80's whereas for existing players it is in the high 80/low 90's. The acceleration of WR generated for the draft also needs to be increased. Finally, there need to be more CB/HB with elite speed (93+).
I would suggest that the SPD/STR/AGI/ACC attributes of the real NFL players be used as the range for players generated by the software for the NFL draft.
Unrealistic player attributes for players generated for the NFL draft were a problem addressed in the first software update for Madden 16. It is still an issue for Madden 17 and should be addressed in a similar manner.
