Auto Simulate in Franchise Mode

I began a brand new season in franchise mode  last week and for some reason certain games are auto simulated.  I want to be able to play every game and don’t like this auto simulate function.  And I don’t know why certain games were auto simulated and others were not and I was able to play the entire game. Any help is appreciated in figuring out a way to disable auto simulate feature.

    Thank you very much! Yes I think I figured it out because it was difficult at first to see what option was highlighted by the red bar at bottom of the box and I think that may have been the when choosing to aim week or play week.  Much appreciated!

    Hey @BFLOBILLinTX

    I know this is a little late and perhaps you might have figured it out by now, but here some details around Franchise mode simulation.

    When you first create a new franchise, there will be a screen where it shows your coach, starting point, league settings, etc. If you click on starting point that will allow you to decide whether you want to start in the pre-season, fantasy draft, or regular season. It defaults to regular season so if you saw the simulation right away for the pre-season that's why.

    On the main franchise menu where you see tabs for "things to do, team, maange, league, options" you can choose "Advance Week" which will auto simulate to the next week of your schedule OR you can choose "Play Season Game" which then pops up asking you if you want to play the full game, offense only, defense only, or special moments that happen in the game like crucial 3rd downs, 2 minute drills, and red zone plays.

    It sounds like you chose any of those options other than "Play Full Game."

    @EA_Blueberry Afternoon, I read this whole thread and still the same issue. I want to play a whole season with no simulated plays or games. I want to kick, play defense and all. Thankful for any help.

    hey i just started playing madden 23 on pc  im trying to figure how when i play a season durin the game the time speeds up each quarter and each seas game please help meon
