  • @Megbaszlak69did you already contact the ToS-team to dispute your ban? if not, please see the information about bans and how to dispute them as provided here (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/INFO-Account-Suspensions-or-Bans-in-Madden-NFL-21/m-p/9837207)

unfortunately, it seems that the ToS team struggles to process all bans/suspensions on time, mainly due to the much larger amount of cases as a result of more sold games (due to Covid).

by the way, it might be a good occassion to have a look at the rules of the game in order to avoid being banned in the future again (regardless of whether your ban/suspension was justified or not): Know the rules in EA SPORTS Madden NFL Football

I hope there will be a solution for you soon. good luck!

@Megbaszlak69 did they give you reasons why you were banned? usually, you should receive all information from the ToS team via email (or if you had contacted them directly via chat, phone etc.). the forums team is not able to look into accounts due to safety reasons. if you did not get the information (e.g. about the length of your ban/suspension) you might have to contact the ToS team again. good luck!

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us about your account action.

We got your note and did a full investigation of your account. After reviewing your case, we determined that we took the correct action in accordance with EA policies and procedures.

    What this means

We have confirmed that your account was in breach of our rules. Because of this, we will not be removing the actions taken on your Madden account.

this is the email they sent to me.

@Megbaszlak69 only from the email it is not clear to me what exactly you did to violate the rules (unless it was already recorded/discussed before or you know it yourself already). there exist many rules a player might have violated, in principle.

I have not been in a similar situation yet, but I would ask them again: 1) what exactly is now really responsible for your account being judged as if it had broken the rules; and 2) what are the next steps or whether (and if yes when) you will be unbanned again.

    Hi, @Megbaszlak69

This is unfortunate news to hear and these conversations are always tough to have on the forums. If you received this answer on your first dispute you are more than welcome to submit another pending you have more information to share with them on why you feel it was done in error.

More clarification on the rules for Madden NFL can be found below. Permanent bans can indeed take place on the first violation depending on the severity or after repeated warnings/suspensions.

@Neo_NovalisThey won't give you a specific example, because A. They can't or B. They won't because it would expose how incompetent they actually are. They use the excuse that they won't because then it would allow cheaters to find work arounds, but the entire thing is just a joke. As you see in Blueberry's post you have to provide "more info to share"...not EA, because as we know they are unaccountable---oops----I mean infallible.

  • I have been wrongfully banned for cheating I have never cheated so I don't understand why I am banned I play the game fair I don't even know how to cheat or use hacks of any sort.i logged in this morning was on for about an hour did not play any online games I was upgrading my team which I have grinded for and purchased packs throughout the year andthen all of a sudden my account got banned I have never cheated. Can someone please explain this?

@bootedtrooper did you get an email from the ToS team? usually, if a player faces a ban, (s)he should receive one (to the email address linked to the EA account) containing the information why (s)he got banned and for how long.

if you did not see this email yet, you might have to look at your spam folder.

anyways, please see the links in EA_Blueberry's post in this thread (post #7: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/banned-account-on-mut/m-p/10282370/highlight/true#M10831) for more information about bans/suspensions and how to dispute them. there is also a link to the rules of the game. maybe it is a good point in time to read the rules carefully (again, independent of whether the ban was justified or not) in order to avoid getting banned in the future again.

I hope this issue will be solved for you soon. good luck!
