What i did to fix it was hold rt or r2 to change the category and then it was working.
It won’t even let me do that so I’m not sure what to do

Are you able to record a 1 minute clip of you navigating around your MUT roster trying to do this so we can see what exactly is going on?
Are you able to fix this by changing your lineup to BEST OVR with the lineup tool on the right side of your roster?
I have the same issue. Changing to the best lineup does nothing. And a video would do no good. You can literally do nothing except cancel with the circle button. You would have a video of what looks like a still photo. It's gotten worse over the last few weeks. Usually, if you waited 30 seconds or so, you could move. Now, nothing at all. I let it sit for about five minutes. Nothing.
