It was a controller issue in my instance. Working fine after getting a new DualShock

Paired an Xbox one controller to the Xbox series x, it did an update and the wheel was gone. now all other controllers work now.

Summarize your bug Unable to snap the ball in any game mode. Tried calling timeout, taking several delay of game calls, quitting game, restarting console, unplugging USB and external hard drive, uninstalling and re-installing on internal hard drive. Also cannot switch players on defense.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try snapping the ball
What happens when the bug occurs? Absolutely nothing. Delay of game.
