Can I play with my friend being on Origin while he has the game on Steam?

Can I play with a friend while I have the game on Origin and he buys the game through steam, both being on PC?

    Both versions use the Origin servers.  Just swop Origin IDs to squad up.

Hey @malavearog Just like @DJ_Englishman mentioned, you should be able to still play with your friend regardless if you are on Origin and your friend is on Steam.
