can i transfer my madden 15 team on ps3 to ps4, i wus told too late.

i wus told ea discontinued this service by a playstation manager. But when i called in the first time, a regular rep said i would be able to , and it wold automatically happen when i log in. So now i am unsure. Can someone please tell me  because i have ps3 andps4. i will continue to use my ps3 for all games i cannot transfer, but would rather just play on ps4. Also did not know u have to pay for internet and have  credit card in order to play online on ps4! So if your thinking of upgrading, look at the problems im having so far! i just rnted a game, and wus unable to play it, 9 hours to load the game. then day 2 i wake up and says i need playstation  plus to play online! uuuugggghh
