Cannot play EA Games anymore

I recently bought a new Xbox and installed Madden 19 which I was already playing on my old Xbox but it asks me to verify my email when I try to play on my Xbox which I cannot do because my email I used was my school email which has been shut down since I graduated. Because of this, all EA games I am unable to play, I contacted EA on several occasions trying to switch the email connected to my Xbox account to my new origin email but they need me to verify the old email. Therefore, the only way I can now play EA games is to create a new Xbox live account and lose progress in every game I’ve ever played plus spend lots of money buying gold and EA access again which I do not want to do. I don’t want to quit playing EA games either because this has been my favorite company for the last decade but I feel like there is no other choice. Someone please help me with this technical issue.
