Can't Change League Settings in Franchise Due to Password Being Profanity

Hello @EA_Blueberry, @EA_Kent asked me to let you know of an issue I am having on Madden 21. The game won’t allow me to add a name for an owner on franchise mode. It let me once but I needed to change a setting. I erased that franchise and started a new one and that’s when I had that issue. Thank you 

@EA_Blueberry I don’t get an error while trying to add a name. It just doesn’t accept one. I add a name, accept it and it goes blank.

i am having the same issue. My league password contains the word “ugly” and I can’t change my password. Has this issue been addressed ?

not sure whether my suggestion is helpful at all but I'm wondering whether EA Help (see contact details below) is able to change league passwords if it is requested by the player owning the league. did any of you (i.e. the affected players contact EA Help already and asked for modifying the password for you (in order to allow you change it to a working password afterwards)?

Another user, @jasonmacadoo posted this workaround on another profanity filter related thread if you need to make league changes:

The only workaround I was able to do was to rename the league to all numbers and make it public. 
(No league password exists => no profanity)

However, when I made it private again and left the password area blank, it gave the profanity error.

No updates from my end, sorry. The team is currently focused on Franchise modes for Madden NFL 22 and we've been raising profanity filter concerns their way. I do not foresee any changes surrounding this in the immediate future.
