Cant connect to ea servers on Madden 16. Keep getting error message "in order ..

I keep getting the message "in order to access online features for this title..." it's basically asking me to connect to the ea servers.. Which I don't know how to. I have ps plus and I have an ea account. Both my ps plus and origin account use the same email, but I don't know how to link my origin account to my psn account I looked everywhere and there is no option to do that anymore apparently. I used to use my origin for pc gaming, so that might be an issue...... Help
