Today 1/22/2017 while playing a blitz game the servers went down or the game booted me offline. I reloaded the game and attempted to go back into mut online game play, but did not have success as the game searched for over 5 minutes for an opponent. I said forget this I'll play my CF team because we have a draft coming up once I clicked on the league I was stuck loading. I closed the madden application only to restart it and try ahhhhh for about the next 6-8 hrs to login to an online game. I can see the mut auction house fine....I can play solos, I can mess with my item binder but cannot play franchise mode, or mut online games, or head to head game which by the way tells me I'm the only person on bc 0 players are playing and 0 players are searching lol whatever.
To rule out the internet I ran the network status test (check good), booted up Starwars Battlefront and successfully loaded into an online game. To narrow it down to my psn tag, I tried to play on line madden head to head using my sons psn tag which is on a different ps pro account. It worked! That ruled out my PS4, my internet, and effectively narrowed it to my psn tag.
now this issue lies with the amount of money that I have spent on this game for online play this year, and in NO WAY am I willing to part with those items. The ea help tech support on staff Sunday via live chat were less than helpful suggesting I DMZ my router, and other than that wait for a specialist to get back to me. Now mind you if I couldn't have connected to the online battlefront game or the madden online using my sons ps pro account that would be an option, but I do not see that as a viable fix. Please advise....disheartened gamer.
