@Chava3894 you can play together if both of you start the game in the same xbox version. I'm not exactly sure how to do it (I'm not used to play on xbox) but there should be an option to select the xbox version before you start the game.

I tried to but when I select the version of the game I have and try to change it, it wants me to purchase it.
