CFM creation error. "The command failed. Please try again."

When I click "Accept and Continue" to create a player on CFM, it says, "The command failed. Please try again."

    If you're playing with custom rosters in which the Created player cap is reached, like with the 2016-17 Rosters, you cannot create a brand new player, you can play as an existing player however.

    Are you using a custom roster?  My issue was I was using one of the new 2016 rookie rosters, switched back to the regular or preseason roster and everything worked.

    yeah im using a custom roster because the preseason roster is completely different from today's nfl. ex) none of the rookies are in it, none of the trades are included because madden doesnt update their old games

    Madden is a broken piece of *. The menus and controls are clunky and difficult. I create a player and hes missing once im done and saved. Cannot create a player for franchise, cannot have custom franchises. This game (not just this year) has been stripped down to virtually nothing. This game is broken. Ea, uf youre so disinterested in making a football game, please sell the license.

    I had the same problem. It didn't work (in my case?) because I tried to use another roster. Since I used the official Madden roster it works. I hope it could help you aswell
