I wanted to submit a feature request for Madden that would genuinely be the deciding factor in whether I purchase the game.
Please add online cooperative play on the same team in Franchise mode.
My friends and I want to be able to build and manage one franchise together and then actually play the games together on the same team. Madden already has the foundation for multiplayer gameplay, so being able to invite a friend into a Franchise game and have us control players on the same team would completely change the experience.
Right now, the lack of same-team co-op in Franchise is actually one of the main reasons I haven’t purchased Madden. If this feature were added, I would buy the game, and I would bet there are a lot of other players in the same position.
Not everyone wants an online Franchise where their friends have to control different teams and compete against each other. Some of us want to draft, develop a roster, chase a Super Bowl, and play through multiple seasons together as one team.
Even simply allowing 2–4 players to join the same Franchise team during games would add a huge amount of replayability. One friend could play quarterback while another controls receivers, running backs, or defensive players. It would turn Franchise into something a group of friends could play together for months instead of requiring everyone to run separate teams.
This seems like a relatively simple feature compared to creating an entirely new game mode, but it would make a massive difference for players like me.
Please consider adding true same-team online co-op to Franchise mode. It would be an immediate Madden purchase for me.
