Commentary Update Won't Download/Freezes

I'm been trying to download the new commentary updates in Madden 17 as I have a broadcasting background and am curious as to how they go about doing this in-game, however since preseason, the update will not download and sometimes freezes the game on the title screen and I have to close the application in the PS4's home menu.

Rosters and other updates download fine, this is the only one giving me issues. Any help would be great.

    Hey guys if anyone is having this issue with not being able to download the commentary update I have a solution. I literally just deleted the application data and reinstalled the game and it downloaded the commentary update when I started it up. I just did it right now and it worked.

    Is deleting the game the only way to fix this? I really want the commentary update. And if I delete the game will I lose everything?

    Hey I have a question, how do I find and delete my data for madden 17 on my Xbox one?

    Having same issue as everyone here.  So it sounds like the fix is to delete all the data (which kind of stinks if you have a lot saved).  Also, does this just mean we are SOL if this occurs again?

    I have the same issue it won't work with a hard line or over WiFi. All other games update fine. I have 68gb of free storage . And have even deleted the game saved info and won't work I have the game on a disk. No error message other then can't download

    @DaddyMAC53 on Xbox one do this it worked for me. 

    1. Press the Xbox home button 

    2. Go to the game press start

    3. Go to manage game 

    4. Go to saved data 

    5. Then delete reserved space (don't delete the one with your gamer tag by it)
