Connected Franchise Invalid User

I have set up a Connected Franchise in hopes to play with a few of my friends.  I receive an error stating "this user is invalid, or has not connected with Madden 17"  The player I'm trying to send it to most definitely has Madden 17, and has played Head to Head games.  The invites have worked for a few people, Any insight on to why when I try to invite this one player to my league it will not work??
