Created QB rated 94 released and forced to retire after year 3 in Franchise Mode

Good evening all,

My question is pretty simple. Why does my created QB in Franchise mode ALWAYS get released after his 3rd year? Each time I have ran Franchise it's with the Bears and as a QB. Each time my QB rates as 94 overall by the end of his 3rd year. The Bears never resign him and he only receives an offer from the Packers which as a Bears fan I'm not taking that. At that point a 3rd year QB with an overall rating of 94 isn't picked up at all and forced to retire. Some please someone at EA sports explain to me how this makes any sense.
