Defensive Coaching Adjustments not working.

Whenever I set my coaching adjustments on defense, I go to Cornerback Matchups. I set it by Overall which defines as the highest rated corner back will cover highest rated receiver. That does not happen. When my opponent has their best WR on the field, but my best CB will cover the slot WR, or the TE, or the WR on the other side of the field. Then I set it to Depth Chart which should CB1 to cover WR1. Same results, my CB1 is just randomly moved around the field covering whomever, but not the WR1. It's especially frustrating while I'm on offense and see that the CPU controlled defense has their CB1 shadow my WR1 all game. It's frustrating and sets my defense at a disadvantage. The whole point of the Cornerback Match-up option is so that just like in the NFL, you can have your best CB shadow their best WR, no matter where he is on the field. It's frustrating when for example I play the Atlanta Falcons, and unless Julio Jones is lined up on the right side of the field, I can never get my top CB to cover him. My top CB should not be on the TE or WR3, he should be on Julio. I've tried every option in the cornerback matchup. No matter what I do, it does not ever work right.
