@9261987 I spoke with a player on the EA Madden NFL forums this year about this and we eventually came to the conclusion it was related to the custom PlayStation controller mapping that can be done on the PlayStation controller settings for the console. Did you switch up any mapping for the buttons?

    @EA_Blueberry I haven't switched anything on the game. It happens as soon as the ball is hiked and I haven't touched a button. This is very frustrating and need this fixed. Thanks for trying to help though!
