Definition of a High Pass

Has anyone ever watched the Movie "Any Given Sunday "  ? ..  if not they should .. because how can you not I throw a Pass .. over someone's head like over the Defense .. when the pass is clearly done .. over and over again during a game .. like when the pass can be " Lobbed " .. over a few players on a post play .. when he run his route .. and the pass keeps " Throwing " Short .. or " Overthrowing Constantly .. when it should hit the Receiver in the numbers .. like in a real Football Game .. but this game just keeps either .. " Throwing " a regular pass in a High Pass .. or keeps " Overthrowing " the Receiver .. because in the Movie .. the Defense are " Jumping for the Pass .. and not even touching the pass at all .. and it's 3 to 4 people jumping for the ball .. and the pass goes to the right Receiver ..  because the QB throws a Rainbow pass over the Defense heads .. so it's no Pickoff .. because the Receiver is running a post play .. and if the Defensive player is not near the ball .. there is no pickoff !!!
