Dev traits not revealing
Product: Madden NFL 20 Platform:PC Which console generation do you have? PlayStation 4 What is your gamertag/PSN ID? DrLatBC Date/time issue occurred 7/29/19 9pm What type of issue do you have? ...
So the new update hasn’t done anything for franchise!!! This is terrible, especially as no one will answer any of the questions *cough* blueberry *cough*
PLLLEEEEESSSSSEEEEE give us an update more than what platform your on or and your gamer tag
Have they actually done anything?
Can you send me your PSN ID in a private message so we can pass along the account examples to the team to reproduce this?
Another user recently posted in another thread that deleting the local and cloud saved data fixed it for them, however by deleting the local saved data that will definitely delete your offline franchises. FYI. Once a new franchise was created it was resolved for them. If anyone is willing to test that out, please let us know of the results. 👍
If no one else wants to give their gamer tag I will absolutely give you mine if it will help fix this mess!!
PSN Tag: Rheems1
System : PS 4
Mode : Offline and Cloud Franchise (both)
Roster : Current, fantasy draft and preseason (with trades)
The issue remains that when you finally get a break out player, the person tells you that you need to run 500 downs with them. In Offline Franchise the snaps don’t count up at all, in Cloud the snaps will count until you start the next game or exit the mode at which point they go to zero again. I started a new franchise the other day to test it (offline, preseason rosters with fantasy draft), got Hunter Renfrow to be break out player... Dev Trait is hidden, played a game with Hunter Renfrow as first line WR so he was on the field for all snaps. Completed game and snaps played said 0/500 still. It is like that with online franchise as well, you are welcome to mirror my screen while I play, verify that Hunter Renfrow is playing all my downs and see that his counter remains at zero. Whatever you have to do to fix this!
No the person said only the preseason roster worked it didnt work for online or updated rosters so it wasnt a fix!
I’ve tried to delete everything and restarted and it hasn’t worked AGAIN, sim through pre season a game at a time, 200+ snaps for 3 rookies with hidden dev, play the first game and reset to between 50-60. This was online franchise with active rosters
I give up and will start playing a franchise that actually works and is fun to play NBA 2k20
So disappointing that this can go on for so long without solving it or that it is even an issue as they obviously haven’t tested it before release as it doesn’t make money like MUT or the other stupid mode that was released.
Need some honesty from EA people to hold their hands up and admit this is a complete shambles.
Do they intend to fix this at all?
Not playing another down until I get some answers
Not playing another down and not buying any EA products from now on
thats totally unnaceptable
more than one month...............
I have survived those last years with the lack of "realism" in the franchise mode , or the lack of deepness ......... ( tradings is a joke , coaching and training as well ) but at least it was playable
Hey, Franchise fans.
The information you've provided us has helped out the team in the process of addressing this. They're looking to fix this is an an upcoming update, stay tuned. 👍
Per today's title update:
Fixed an issue causing the hidden dev trait snap-count to reset when using active rosters to start a Franchise league

- Dev Note: This is fixed for newly created leagues. The Team is still investigating a fix for leagues that were created and we intend to address this in an upcoming title update.
This is great news to hear. I'm hopeful this will work moving forward. If anyone can test this out, it would be much appreciated!
