Don’t have access to section/content

When I load up Madden 22 on PS5, it will bring me to the loading screen and i’ll see tom brady instead of my player they have me create and on the bottom left it’ll say press R2 and i’ll sign into EA, i’ve pressed R2 and it doesn’t work. I’ve deleted the game from my console, reset my whole console, checked the internet and nothing has fixed it. I am still able to play other games online, this is only a Madden 22 problem. my friends have tried logging into my account on their own system and it doesn’t work and when i use their account on my system, it doesn’t work either. none of it makes sense
