Ending Madden 20 and Launching 21

I’ve been playing this game since February of 2015...with Madden 21 launching...am I really going to loose everything in this new version? Becoming a new everything in the 21 version is extremely sad. Boooooo EA if this is true. Players take pride in having that status of being a player for long periods. Tell me it is not true? It is not about my players it’s about my length of commitment. We should be able to roll into the new season just as in prior years.

Madden Ultimate Team has never transferred from one title to the next. There are some benefits that can "transfer" like the Rookie Premiere items. If you complete the set in Madden 20, you'll receive Rookie items upon logging into Madden 21 Ultimate Team. You may also be eligible for loyalty perks depending on how you did in Madden 20 via progress and packs purchased. If you're a die hard MUT player, I know starting over can be tough after all of the time put into it, however I wouldn't say you start necessarily from scratch like everyone else because you'll get those extra benefits right away which a large amount of players won't. So in a sense, you do get a little ahead of the game if you were devoted in Madden 20.

  • To be 100 percent honest with you, you will lose everything. I would say that you could get a 10% loyalty discount if you got the most recent Madden, but it seems not. I completely understand what you are saying, but more maintenance and server crashes would occur if EA was focusing on one Madden. Another problem would be how overpowered some people would actually be. Sorry to hear that.
