Error Loading an Exported Franchise Team - Madden 2005 PS2

Loading an Exported team issue on Madden 05 on PS2 = I know this is an old game on an old system, but I've scoured the internet with no results  I called EA and they sent me this link and said I should post my issue here.
Please help!

I have a Franchise on Madden 2005 for the PS2. I manage 2 teams on that Franchise, the Packers and Bills.
I choose the Export Team option in the My Team screen, I export both teams and the save is successful for both.

I go to the Madden 2005 home screen and select the Play Now option for an exhibition match, I press circle to load a team and find my exported teams under the memory card options. The Bills team loads fine, no problems. The Packers team (from the same Franchise file) however populates this error screen : "Error loading Exported Team from memory card (PS2) in Memory Card slot1. "

I have tried to re-export the Packers team multiple times under new saves, to check if the export team save file was actually unsuccessful, but I keep getting the same results for the Packer team only. I tried saving to a different memory cards in different slots, same error result while trying to load it in Play Now (even though it said the Export Team save was a success)

Both the Bills team (successful load of the exported team) and the Packers team (error message) are from the exact same Franchise file (which is saved right after the SB, before the Pro Bowl) , both teams have the same number of players, and both have computer generated players from CPU generated drafts; so I can't think of any difference why one export file works and the other doesn't...

I really appreciate any ideas or feedback, i know it's an old game so there maybe some unfamiliarity, but the issue is quite unusual... THANKS!
