Evasive Ability Not Working (Dalvin Cook)

Sup guys, so my 89 Dalvin Cook isn’t performing the way I’d hope. Bought him for 250 k for hopes of applying the evasive ability on him and for some reason he’s just not performing the move like I was used to Marcus Allen doing when I had him. (Got Dalvin for the purpose of a back-up behind Bo Jackson). Right now, Dalvin cook is basically just showcasing the BASIC juke and spin moves of any other backs in the game. Does any one know why this is and can you help? Thanks!!
