Face of the franchise new contract

After completing the first season in madden 23 face of the franchise on Xbox series x. I come to a cutscene to select a new contract. Once I select my team and accept the offer the game stalls and comes to a quick error message before kicking me back out to the face of the franchise main menu. Please fix.
