Thanks for the reports on this. So that we can get a full picture of what exactly is going on, I wanted to ask for a bit more information:
- Which platform are you playing on?
- What is the exact error message you're getting, if any?
- Is this only happening with H2H, or does it affect other game modes?
- Are you on the EA Play trial, or are you playing the full version of Madden NFL 21?

Error message “An unexpected error occurred while starting your game”
Happens in H2H, Weekend league, and the house rules.
Playing on the full game.

Thank you. To be clear, have you tried changing your roster to BEST OVR with the lineup tool and tried going into a game again? That usually fixes this type of error.

Can you try a power cycle with your modem/router and console one more time and then let me know what your NAT type is if you can't in?

- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your PS4 console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
