Fake fair catch button?

Hello, On a punt return as the receiving team, is there a way to run away from the ball or fake a fair catch?  For example, sometimes if the ball is punted and going to land inside the 10, you do no...

    Yes it is triangle, I tried it in practice mode and it’s working.  thank you.  I was assuming it was a different button than the fair catch button because I have tried this before in past games but for whatever reason my player would not move off the circle.  I notice in practice that you have to make the decision to run away very early, if you wait too long, the game won’t let you move away.

@hokiesjg29 if I got you right, you want to signal for a fair catch but run away from the ball afterwards, correct? this should be possible as I can do it pressing "R" while playing on PC (it is the same key as doing a ball hawk with a defensive back).

I copy a link to the gameplay controls below (although I've just seen that not all keys are correctly listed, at least for PC). on what platform (PC, PS, xbox) are you playing?

    Yes, that is what I am looking to do.  I am playing on the PS5 platform, I imagine the buttons are the same as PS4 but I didn’t see any punt return keys in that link you sent me or online. Thanks again!

      did you find out which key it is on PS? is it the same as for ball hawk?
