@jdjones0120 that's really annoying, I know. losing a lot of rewards due to a bug is so frustrating. but frankly, I think it is a good thing that the 'icing' feature does not always result in an iced kicker. in reality, sometimes kickers are better at keeping their nerves, and sometimes they fail. it is unfortunate loosing a game because the icing did not have any effect, no question. but I'd say I would not call it a 'bug'.
regarding bad pack content: well, I'd guess every MUT player has to go through this bad frustration sometimes. packs are a lottery: you always hope for the jackpot but most often you get the peanuts. frustration seems to be part of the game. ☹️
what I've learnt after facing the same moments of deep frustration regarding pack content (as you describe them):
1) I try to not expect too much from the packs. if I expect too much, it is most likely to get disappointed. but if I do not expect anything, I will feel joy when I get something good from it, at least from time to time.
2) I really reconsider it twice if i really want to buy a pack. first I ask myself what I actually want (from the pack). then I try to compare how much the pack costs me and how much a set might cost me to get a desired player (i.e. if I try to buy the required set items from the auction house). and if one of the two options is better than e.g. buying an item from the Auction House, then I do it. but I have to say, it is often much cheaper to buy an item from the auction house (maybe waiting one or two weeks till prices go down...) than hoping for good pack content... as I already said, packs are just a lottery...
