[FotF, Franchise] "Advance Week" locked

Summarize your bug I completed my week 7 game. Choose advance week and the game froze. I restarted the game and loaded in and now I have a lock next to my Advance Week option and I have no other option to simulate to the next week.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m not sure.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t advance the week. I can’t do anything but edit my player and look at stats.
What do you expect to see? I expect for it to advance to the next week and give me player choice and options.

@nellakcin I've just read in another thread that a player faced a similar bug in a Cloud Franchise game. Another player suggested to back out of the game and wait a bit, see here. Doing that solved the issue for him/her (kudos to @behemoth6six6 for reporting this workaround). Maybe worth a shot trying?
