Framerate issues on PC

Framerate issues. Seems to be the same issue that occurs every year. When playing on the field it is fine (60 FPS), but any in between plays or cutscenes of any kind there is a drop below 20 FPS. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas? I am running a GTX 1070 with the latest drivers.

    So i went in to the control panel and made sure the default was the GTX 1070. This did improve the experience so thanks for that. The one thing that I will note is that for the most part my FPS hovers around 144. However, at the beginning of new cut scenes there is a drop to below 70 for about 1 second and then it stabilizes. From a visual perspective it is hardly noticeable, but did want to let you know that it happens. From my perspective I am good now on this.

    Thanks!

    @StanRoofner

    I see that you have a webcam connected with drivers from 2006. Devices that are plugged into the PC can sometimes cause strange issues. Can you try unplugging those first to see if it helps fix that?

    Have you optimized the game through GeForce Experience?

    1. The Webcam is integrated into my laptop, so I can't really unplug it. So do you want me to disable it? Also, I ran windows driver update and it said that my drivers are up to date.

    2. I checked this morning and GeForce Experience doesn't have anything yet for Madden 21. I can tell you that I did use the GeForce optimizations last year and it didn't actually do anything to help the FPS issue.

    Thanks!

    @StanRoofner Hey there! Apologizes for the delay, but it sounds like the game could be running under the onboard CPU. Are you able to set the game to run from your GeForce card under the Nvidia Control Panel?
