My full on field control is on and I am still having this issue. Is there any other work around?
Community ManagerI am having the same issue. Here are my details.
Happens while in Franchise mode
Only happens in practice.
I'm playing QB.
currently happening roughly 80% of the time.
Once it happens, it seems the only way to get past it is to quit game and restart.
How did this make it past beta testing?

before starting when setting up the game options, choose coach mode on. This will let the game play qb if the controls are not touched after the snap.
before doing practice, go to options, franchise settings, league settings, change skill level to rookie, this will make it where the catch is made between 80 and 100%. all you have to do is hike it.
as for the rest of the game, after practice i up the skill level again. As long as you take control after the snap the game is normal.

It was only on some weeks but now moving to the 2022 season (#2) it appears to be every week’s practice
