[Franchise] got fired as Coach although option is turned off

Why am I getting fired first year every time? I turn coach firing off and it still happens. What’s the point of putting an option to turn it off if it doesn’t? Talked to ea and they tried to blame ...

Same exact issue (Xbox One). First time, had Coach Firing set to "CPU Only" and got fired by year 3. Second attempt in season 2 had Coach Firing set to "Off" and was fired again. Very frustrating and limiting in this year's franchise mode.
