Franchise Mode changing teams not possible

So I have been playing a player in Franchise mode in Madden 16 for the Ps3. I have completed 2 seasons, won a super bowl and now have an 87 overall as a Quarterback. My problem is, that I cannot find any way to change the team with which I am playing. I can demand a release, but for some reason no team offers me a contract. Is there any way to change your team or is it just not possible?
