Why hasn't anyone addressed this???? I am having the exact same problem. Help us EA!!!!!!
This is currently happening to me on PS4. I cannot upgrade players anymore, nor can I even start the game. Every time I attempt to start a game and edit the uniforms it instantly crashes. I've asked so many times for help on so many different forums and no one can figure out the answer. My franchise is completely unplayable. The background is also missing which I feel is the issue, like the coach and the player card doesn't reveal the players.

Do you have the game installed on an external hard drive?
Has anyone here tried reinstalling the game to see if that would have any positive effect? (Install on internal drive and verify no previous files were on the internal before installing)Please reply with the following so we can get this up to the team:
- Platform you play on and Gamertag/PSN ID/Origin ID
- Online or Offline Franchise?
- Have you tried reinstalling on an internal drive?
- What are you doing when it freezes/crashes?
- Any other technical steps you've tried in attempt to fix it?
- Are you using a custom player or have a custom created player in this franchise?
no but i verified all the game files like you do on steam which is virtually the same thing.. is there a fix for this yet??? super annoyting havin to alt-f4 after every single game.. EA get your * together!!! its like this is a "new" ip and its some alpha test of this lame game. if you are going to be the only ones allowed to make this game for the NFL, it better be 120% each iteration, not the 40%-60% we've been getting for the last decade. fed up with this
