Franchise Mode Salary after Fantasy draft

Completed 53 round fantasy draft in Franchise Mode.  I avoided players with bad contracts like I have done for years on Madden only this time to find after the draft that they standardized ALL the contracts.  All the players drafted in the same rounds have the same contract amounts and lengths.  So, now every team has the exact same cap space and all the players drafted in the same rounds hit free agency at same time with every team have $50M+ available in cap space.  Is there a setting I missed to make sure the players have their real contract amounts and lengths like always has been?
