[Franchise] no kickoff when turning off full on-field control

Summarize your bug Game does not proceed (essentially freezing, though not actually freezing) after halftime when playing in the 'player' role, and the 'full on field control' option is off in franchise.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a new franchise and set your role to player. Play as any active NFL player (I'm playing as a QB). Turn off the 'full on field control' option in franchise settings. Start a game, and play until halftime. Ensure that your player is on the field as you head into halftime. This means that if you are a quarterback, your offense will need to possess the football as the clock winds down to halftime. If your player is not on the field when the clock hits zero, halftime will be simulated and the bug will not occur. Watch or skip the halftime show. The game will not proceed.
What happens when the bug occurs? After halftime, the game will show a few different camera angles of the stadium for a few seconds, before the camera stops panning. The game is now stuck in a top down view of the stadium. None of the controller buttons work, including the menu button. The only way out of it is to quit Madden 22. Simply resuming your game after restarting Madden does not work, as it will resume before halftime, and you will get stuck at halftime again.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to continue after halftime. The game should finish its halftime presentation, and then the game should automatically prompt you to simulate until your player is back on the field.

I'm almost certain that this bug is because of the new 'halftime adjustments' feature. Likely, the game gets to the point when the halftime adjustments menu should pop up, but it won't because we are playing as a player with 'full on field control' disabled. It makes sense that the menu wouldn't show up for us, but it seems that Madden gets stuck because it doesn't know how to proceed without the 'halftime adjustments' menu popping up. To confirm this, you can try to trigger the bug using the same steps, except this time you will turn 'full on field control' on. In that case, the game does not get stuck after halftime, as it shows the halftime adjustment menu since we are controlling the entire team.

Very frustrating, makes the 'player' role unplayable.

I reported this issue too. It also happens in User VS CPU. Basically with full on field control turned off we aren't given a 'halftime adjustments' menu. In its absence, the game doesn't know how to proceed and so it does nothing.

Not sure if you noticed another bug in the franchise 'player' role, but the head coach preseason scenarios are broken. You know how you used to get a text from your head coach about your QB's performance after each preseason game, which would enable you to compete for the starting position (or get cut, if you played poorly)? Well, that's completely broken. No matter how well you play, the head coach gives you negative feedback. If there is another player on your team with a similar overall rating at your position, the coach will start them over you every time. Franchise in the player role is unplayable for now.

I have the exact same problem will EA fix this because I can’t play the game now and if they don’t what a waste of money and I won’t buy next years game it’s so pathetic that for a big company such as EA they allow a major glitch like this.

I understand bugs here and there, but to break as much stuff as you fix every year, at a studio the size of EA Sports is completely inexcusable. Each year I buy this game and I primarily play franchise in the player role. So I just bought Madden 22, and I can't play the only mode I really like to play. The game already wasn't that good this year, and now I basically paid for nothing because this game is broken. I can't really understate how unacceptable that is. Definitely will not preorder next year, and I won't buy it at all if they don't get around to fixing this stuff quickly.

Has anyone else had issues where in franchise if you control the ball as the game goes to halftime it never progresses to the second half. If the PC has control of the ball then it will go to the second half but not if you do. For the Series X. Needs fix.

What’s the betting they’ll say we listened to the community and then ignore everything we say and just improve ultimate team and not what we actually said cause there just money grabbers.

Like if they don’t fix this I expect a full refund.

My friend and I have a connected franchise where he is playing at DB and I'm playing as a HB. When we loaded into the game against each other, it would just be stuck on a camera moving around the field.

After some troubleshooting, we figured out if we were doing a manager connected franchises or the option where you control the whole team on player franchises it would then work. But I think due to the fact we weren't able to initiate kick off the game just didn't work.

@Temujin07 do you play a specific player only and have turned off "full on-field control"? if yes, other players reported the same issue here.
