[Franchise] setting Career Clock is not working if set to off

I shut career clock of in my franchise mode, but two older players retired after week 3: Alex Mack and Trent Williams (even after I edited their ages to be a little younger). To my understanding, this should eliminate retiring mid season due to lack of desire.
